This policy explains how EquiGuild uses cookies and similar storage/access technologies on equiguild.co.uk.
1. Our approach
We separate technologies into Essential, Analytics and Marketing. Essential technologies are always active where they are necessary to provide the service. Optional categories are controlled by the EquiGuild Cookie Settings control where consent is required.
2. Essential technologies
These technologies support core website functions and cannot be switched off through our consent tool without affecting the service.

3. Analytics
Where enabled, EquiGuild may use Jetpack Stats/Automattic to understand page views and general traffic patterns. This plugin prevents Jetpack Stats from counting a visitor through the EquiGuild consent mechanism unless Analytics is enabled, and it also instructs Jetpack to honour browser Do Not Track signals.
Analytics is used to understand how the site performs rather than to sell individual visitor profiles.
4. Marketing
Marketing technologies, advertising pixels or similar non-essential tracking are only permitted through the Marketing category where consent is required. EquiGuild’s server-side social posting tools do not by themselves mean a visitor is being tracked on this website.
5. Change your choice
You can change your preferences at any time using:
Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent you from creating an account, purchasing a membership, managing your supplier profile or sending enquiries.
6. Browser controls
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, basket or checkout functions from working correctly.
7. Changes
Cookie names and durations can change as WordPress, WooCommerce, Stripe, Jetpack and other services are updated. We review this policy and our consent configuration when the site changes materially.
