Using EquiGuild
These terms apply to use of the EquiGuild website and to paid supplier memberships. By creating an account, submitting a listing or purchasing a supplier plan, you agree to provide accurate information and to use the service lawfully.
Supplier memberships
Supplier memberships are intended primarily for businesses and trade users. The applicable plan, price and listing period are shown at checkout. Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, a membership does not renew automatically and a further payment is required to extend the listing.
Founding Supplier programme
While the Founding Supplier campaign is open, the first qualifying paid new supplier memberships may receive a Founding Supplier number and introductory first-year price. Founding status does not guarantee enquiries, sales, search-engine rankings or editorial endorsement. Renewals use the normal membership price unless a different offer is expressly stated.
Listings, moderation and accuracy
Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that profile information, claims, images, contact details, prices, certifications and links they provide are accurate and that they have the right to publish them. EquiGuild may edit, reject, suspend or remove content that is misleading, unlawful, irrelevant, unsafe, infringes third-party rights or does not meet directory standards.
Verification, featured placement and editorial independence
A Verified Supplier badge records the checks described in the Verification Policy at the time they were completed; it is not a guarantee of solvency, product quality, fulfilment, compliance or suitability for a transaction. Paid or Featured placement affects visibility but does not buy editorial endorsement.
Payments, cancellation and refunds
Membership charges are shown before payment. Any cancellation or refund rights that apply by law are not affected by these terms. Unless a legal right or an expressly stated refund policy applies, membership fees are not automatically refundable merely because a listing receives fewer visits, enquiries or sales than expected.
Buyers and third-party suppliers
EquiGuild provides a discovery and information service. Transactions between buyers and listed suppliers are made directly between those parties unless expressly stated otherwise. Buyers remain responsible for commercial due diligence, including checking specifications, standards, lead times, delivery terms, insurance, payment terms and the identity of the supplier.
Intellectual property and acceptable use
EquiGuild branding, original site content and platform materials may not be copied or republished without permission except where law permits. Users must not scrape, misuse, interfere with, reverse engineer or use the service to distribute unlawful, deceptive or malicious content.
Availability and liability
EquiGuild aims to keep the directory accurate and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or the accuracy of information supplied by third parties. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to mandatory law, EquiGuild is not responsible for losses arising solely from a buyer’s or supplier’s independent commercial decision or from the acts or omissions of a listed third party.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the service develops. Material changes will apply from publication or from any later date stated. Questions about these terms can be sent using the contact details below.
