Research & Citation Policy

Research designed for traceability

EquiGuild sourcing guides are designed to give trade buyers clear, practical and attributable information. Important pages use concise summaries, visible update dates, structured supplier data and a transparent source list where external research materially supports the guide.

How sources are selected

Research may combine structured directory data, web-based research tools and editorial review. Preference is given to official standards bodies, trade organisations, manufacturers, government or regulatory sources and other first-party material where relevant. Sources may support terminology, standards, product distinctions and buying considerations. EquiGuild does not publish invented search-volume figures or unsupported market statistics.

Editorial independence

Research and editorial material are kept distinct from paid supplier placement. A paid listing does not become an editorial endorsement, and supplier profile information should be independently checked before a commercial transaction.

Corrections and freshness

Authority pages record when their research was last refreshed. EquiGuild may update pages when terminology, standards or sourcing considerations change. Readers and listed businesses can request corrections where information is inaccurate or outdated.
